The Key of A Story

My love of vintage goods and antiques of all kinds began many years ago with the restoration of my first home. I found a love for old stately furniture, delicate detailed linens, vintage statement jewelry, intricate well-made machines of all kinds and beautiful quality glassware. Collecting of antiques became a passion over the next several years with my love of repurposing, refinishing and recycling anything that caught my eye when shopping at an antique store, auction or tag sale.

My inspiration for The Key of A began with an old Underwood typewriter, a flea market in Chicago and my “trash to treasure” creativeness.

Currently, The Key of A collections not only include a vast assortment of vintage inspired jewelry and accessories produced from authentic keys, but it now incorporates a variety of other “found objects” that have inspired me in some special way. Although their pasts have been long at rest, I feel that I breathe new life into them in my creations, allowing each component to continue to reflect the essence of the bygone era from which it originated.
